Phillip R. Braunlich, DO
Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Braunlich is an orthopedic surgeon with advanced training in surgery of the hand and upper extremities. He is passionate about all conditions of the shoulder, elbow and hand.

He is a graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences. Following medical school, he completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at HCA Healthcare/USF Morsani College of Medicine, GME: Largo Medical Center where he served as the chief resident. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine.

Dr. Braunlich is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is also a professional member of American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

He has a passion for leadership opportunities in hand and upper extremity care and looks forward to providing exceptional care to our Douglas County residents.

Outside of work, Dr. Braunlich enjoys spending time with his family at home and outdoors. He’s an avid golfer, hiker, and kayaker. He hopes to conquer fly-fishing on the North Umpqua!

He joined Centennial Orthopedics and Podiatry in January 2024.
