Cardiology Physician

Dr. Virgilio is the Medical Director of Noninvasive Cardiology and Cardiac Rehab at CMG Shaw Heart & Vascular Center. She received her medical degree from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at the Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine and is certified in Vascular Ultrasound.

Dr. Virgilio has a passion for cardiovascular prevention and education. “Cardiology has come a long way and we have so much to offer patients with newer heart procedures and life-sustaining medications. I believe in carefully educating my patients about their heart issues, so that they can make the best choice about their health that best reflects their values and wishes.
